98ph Sports — Bet on Basketball, Football, Boxing and Every Sport Filipinos Love

Sports Betting on 98ph — Built for Filipino Fans

Sports are part of everyday life in the Philippines. Whether it's catching a PBA game on television with family, following Manny Pacquiao's legacy through the next generation of Filipino fighters, or tracking the UAAP women's volleyball Final Four — there's a deep, passionate sports culture here that runs across every region from Metro Manila to Cebu and Davao. 98ph was built with that culture in mind.

The sports betting section on 98ph isn't a tacked-on feature. It's a fully developed part of the platform with dedicated markets, live in-play options, real-time odds updates, and a wide range of bet types that suit both casual fans placing their first wager and more experienced bettors who follow multiple leagues closely. Everything is denominated in PHP so there's no conversion confusion — you deposit in Philippine Peso and you withdraw in Philippine Peso.

Basketball First, Always

No sports betting platform serving Filipino players can afford to treat basketball as an afterthought, and 98ph doesn't. The PBA is covered extensively — from the Philippine Cup through the Commissioner's Cup and the Governor's Cup. Regular season games, quarterfinals, semifinals, and the Finals all have dedicated markets. You can bet on game winners, point spreads, first-half results, total points, and more.

NBA coverage is equally strong. From opening night through to the playoffs and the Finals, 98ph offers American basketball betting that matches what Filipino fans demand. UAAP and NCAA college basketball are also on the platform, making it the natural home for fans who follow local talent before they turn professional.

Football Leagues From Around the World

Football fandom is growing fast in the Philippines, and 98ph reflects that with thorough coverage of the world's biggest leagues. The English Premier League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga, Italian Serie A, and UEFA Champions League are all available with pre-match and live markets. For local pride, AFF Cup matches involving the Philippine Azkals are covered whenever they're scheduled.

Football betting on 98ph includes the standard 1X2 match result markets, both teams to score, Asian handicap, over/under totals, first goalscorer, correct score, and live in-play options that let you bet as the action unfolds. Whether you're following from Manila or watching replays in Cebu, the markets are there whenever you want them.

Boxing — A Philippine Institution

Boxing holds a special place in Philippine sports culture, and 98ph treats it accordingly. World championship fights — particularly those involving Filipino fighters — come with detailed betting markets including outright winner, method of victory, round betting, and over/under rounds. International undercards and regional bouts are also covered during major fight cards.

For big fight nights, 98ph often adds enhanced markets and special bet types that go deeper than a simple win/loss selection. If you're the kind of fan who watches every round closely and has genuine insight into a fighter's style and conditioning, those detailed markets give you more ways to apply that knowledge.

Esports — Mobile Legends, Dota 2 and Beyond

Esports is one of the fastest-growing betting categories in Southeast Asia, and the Philippines is at the center of that growth. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournaments — including the MPL Philippines season and the M-Series world championships — are covered on 98ph with match-winner, map winner, and tournament outright markets. Dota 2's The International and major regional leagues are also available, along with VALORANT Champions Tour and CS2 major events.

Esports betting on 98ph works the same way as any other sport — you pick your market, set your stake in PHP, and follow the results live. For players who already watch these tournaments on stream, adding a wager makes the viewing experience even more engaging.
